Monday, July 11th 2022: Day trip to Heidelberg
Join us on a tour to Heidelberg, home to the oldest university in Germany. We are going to explore the Old Town with all its winding alleys and sleepy squares while learning about the many facets of Heidelberg, such as the Church of the Holy Spirit (Heiliggeistkirche) and the Jesuit quarter. From the Old Town, the funicular railway will take us up to the castle where we will explore the electoral ruin, the Castle garden and the famous Large Barrel (Großes Fass). We are going to round off our day trip to Heidelberg with a boat trip on the Neckar, during which we will experience the city and its river valley from a unique angle.
